Hosta 'White Feather'The amazing white leaved Hosta 'White Feather' (originally featured in PLANTS Volume 6 Issue 3 (Issue 23) was a big hit on Anne and Roger Bowden Hostas display at the 2002 Chelsea Flower Show but I first spotted this at the 2001 Harrogate Spring Flower Show in England. This Dutch discovered Hosta was originally sourced from Marco Fransen's specialist Hosta nursery (he was also at Chelsea) and needs 2 hours direct sunlight in the morning to be at its best for the rest of the day in dappled shade. It has narrow wavy bright white leaves in spring that turn greenish later - it's an unusual Hosta 'Undulata' sport. This has been available in small numbers in the UK and Europe from 2003 / 2004 season for enthusiasts. HIGH RESOLUTION DIGITAL IMAGE FILE(S) AVAILABLE FOR COMMERCIAL USE.
